There is a plague sweeping through the United States. Everyone has been falling into comas and either waking up completely okay, or they bore a mark on the hand they wrote with. Those bearing the mark have turned into mindless, violent beasts that roam the streets and sewers, preying upon those unbranded, while a select few without tattoos live protected inside a fortresslike wall, their lives devoted to rebuilding society and killing all who bear the mark. Those lucky enough to have gotten vacinated have a low chance of being infected, but there is a chance, and even if they are turned into a beast, there is a high chance they'll be low levelled. Those who lived in poverty did not get vacinated and have a very high chance to be infected, but they still have a chance of coming out clean, a very low chance, but still, a chance is a chance, and if they are, they get a high chance to be higher levelled. Will you survive the plague? Or die trying. This RP is based off the books Sting and Cured, the same series. You are either a mindless beast that bores the mark, or a survivor trying to live out this awful plague. Keep in and that people with disabilities were executed since they are no valuable to surviving and are just another mouth to feed. Those bearing the mark fall in and out of their beast-like mode. The mark is an oval with legs on either side, the more legs, the higher a level they are, the more dangerous they are. The range is from one to ten. Occupations can be a farmer [main], scientist [hard to get], soldier [hard to get], nurser [hard to get], doctor [hard to get], commander, second-in-commander. [I will choose commander and second-in-commander, so no fighting or arguing. My RP, my rules. Level tens are extremely rare and the lower levels are more common. It is hard to become a scientist, soldier, doctor, nurser, commander, and second-in-commander, so farmers are more common, like Roman and Mayan times. Even if you don't know the series, I think you get the idea. And if you haven't read it, I highly suggest it! Ships are allowed, but ask the person first! Beasts don't kill other beasts and if you're a soldier or guard ask the person in PM if you can kill their character or at least shoot at them. I'd like you to roleplay two characters only please!

-Survivor Form- Name - Aaron Cultin Age - 15 Gender - Male Strengths - Aaron is very good at memorizing things and he's pretty good under pressure. He's quite the science nerd and is very good at his job that he's training for. [Memorization, good under pressure, good at healing.] Weaknesses - Aaron was orphaned after his mother died giving birth to him and his father was crippled so he was excecuted, so he has a hard time opening up to other's and trusting them easily, he's distracted quite easily as well. Occupation In The Society - Training to be a scientist Personality [TPRP'd is accepted, but please, try and get creative] - Aaron is very friendly and is a super dork, he'll beat your word with science and can be very smart-alecky. He can get very flirty without knowing it, and even if he can't open up or trust newbies well, he's as sweet as sugar and as smooth as silk. Height - 5'9" Weight - 145 lbs. Hair Colour and Style - Short, ginger faux-hawk. Eye Colour - Forest green Nationality - Irish Race - White Clothing - Red-and-black plaid flannel, baggy blue denim jeans, red Vans, black oval framed glasses.

Name - Adelaide Javadd Gudanni (Goo-Dah-Knee) Age - Nineteen years old. Gender - Female. Strengths - Adelaide, more commonly known as Ade, or Addy, is very headstrong and a general leader, though she doesn't know what made her become a nurse; most likely her curiousity for the world of healing. She always dreamed of bossing people around (not in a harsh way), but the dream never came true and she now works as an assistant. She is somewhat stubborn, though helpful and quirky if she's not being procastinative. Weaknesses - Stubborn and easily irritated with being bossed around, Addy likes being the boss of things, which knocks her down or makes her snap when others tell her she isn't the boss of them. She dislikes being an assistant, and hopes one day to be a doctor, for she is currently a nurse. Addy also procrastinates a lot. Occupation In The Society - Nurse. Personality [TPRP'd is accepted, but please, try and get creative] - Stubborn though somewhat friendly, Addy likes to be a control freak and can always attempt to get things her way; she's quite persuasive. Addy likes it when others agree/praise her own ideas, and just hates the idea of being forgotten by friends, family, or anyone. Being an assistant nurse it hard for her, since she is usually the control freak, though she has to oblige to the doctor's orders. Height - Um... let's just say 5'3? Weight - 112 lbs. Hair Colour and Style- Chocolatey-brown hair with blonde highlights; hair is shoulder-length. Addy has bangs on the right side of her head that droop slightly over her eyes, though it makes her look more mysterious. Eye Colour - Adelaide has bright hazel eyes. Nationality - Australian (I LOVE THEIR ACCENTS ITS SO ATTRACTIVE))!!! Race - White. Clothing - Usually dressed quite casually, Adelaide is often dressed in a plain black tee-shirt, a red flannel and ripped, blue skinny jeans, along with a pair of solid black vans. She sometimes wears a snapback, along with geeky glasses (that look cute on her). She often wears the snapback, and when she doesn't, her hair is in a bun or down. Never in a braid; she dislikes the curliness after leaving it in the entire day. Addy also hardly wears make-up, she doesn't get the idea of it, since she has a saying; "Girls and boys can be beautiful without make-up." | |

-Survivor Form- Name - Lyberty Dahlberg Age - 15 Gender - Female Strengths - Lyberty is a fast learner and has a great memory. She can figure out things on her own very easily. She's very great at making sure the job she is training for is done well. Weaknesses - Lyberty's Mother died three days after birthing her and her twin brother. Her father was blind so he was 'murdered' as Lyberty puts it. Her brother turned into a beast making all her family gone. So, she won't open up that easily to anyone. Her left eye is almost blind (Like 1/20 Vision) but if you looked at it you wouldn't be able to tell it was. She's never told anyone, of fear, and because of it she is not good at measuring distane by mind... Occupation In The Society - Training to be a Scientest Personality [TPRP'd is accepted, but please, try and get creative] - Lyberty is very closed off to others. She likes to be by herself. She can make friends if they approach her but normally she won't get near others. She's quite nerdy and clumsy due to her 'bad' eye. A quote from her is: "Humans are pack animals. Correct? Well not this one... not this one...". Height - 5'4" Weight - 107 lbs Hair Colour and Style- Dark brown with one dark blue streak in the front. Curly and long. Eye Colour - Left: Green. He under stands why he's there and just wishes to be killed. So he doesn't have to deal with the pain if he ever hurt anyone... Height: 5'6" Weight: 115 lbs. Hair Colour and Style: Dark brown with one light yellow streak in the front. Curly and short. Eye Colour: Left: Green. Right: Blue. "Aaron! Can you please let me out?" Alex begged for about the fifth time, rattling her cage bars once more along with her shackles and cuffs. He ginger hair hung stringy, short in the back, and long in the front. The bangs in front covering most of her eyes. Her over-sized clothing made her look like a boy. She couldn't remember why she made herself look like that, but she knew it was important. | |
